Delivering to help clients boost visibility, increase flexibility, and drive operational excellence

"Our Gateway for TMS offers shippers a seamless, user-tailored view of their operations, ensuring efficiency and clarity at every step." – Robert Lerner, Director of Professional Services at NMB Solutions
At NMB Solutions, our strategic partnerships with e2open and Shipwell bring unparalleled advantages to our customers - leveraging advanced TMS capabilities to deliver the best-in-class D365 transportation management experience that extends far beyond the capabilities of standard D365 TMS offerings. Our seamless integrations (paired with our latest release update) enable businesses to automate complex shipping workflows, optimize freight spend, and ensure compliance with industry regulations, all while improving agility in an increasingly dynamic supply chain landscape.
Integrating D365 with elite TMS platforms like Shipwell and e2open allows our customers to leverage end-to-end shipment tracking, enabling them to proactively mitigate disruptions, respond faster to customer demands, and drive operational excellence.
This quarter’s Gateway for TMS release builds upon this ideology – delivering new and innovative TMS tools to our D365 customers.
The core strength of NMB Gateway for TMS stems from its ability to leverage Shipwell and e2open’s TMS offerings, centralizing key transportation management data onto single-source D365 screens. This quarter’s release continues to improve on this by automating shipment export processes, leveraging native D365 batch job functionality to deliver seamless updates throughout the shipping process. We’ve also made several UI and data entity enhancements, providing real-time updates on critical shipping events like freight invoice statuses, requested delivery times, and shipment plannability. To mitigate connectivity conundrums, we’ve taken proactive steps to simplify webhook connectivity parameters - ensuring seamless communication between D365 and Shipwell’s TMS.
Unmatched flexibility
NMB Gateway for TMS’ wide range of parameter settings provide unmatched flexibility and control over your D365 TMS shipping solution.

Once again, we’ve added a refreshed list of new parameters that offer additional user options when updating Sales, Purchase, and Transfer order shipments.
Highlighted additions:
A new Enable requested delivery date time toggle allows users to update specific time-to-capture discrepancies between customer requested receipt dates and the actual delivery dates.
An exclude volume from integration setting determines whether to send volume data to e2open’s TMS for Sales, Transfer, and Purchase orders.
Additional automation settings enable seamless updating of inspection seal values and modes of delivery on order lines.
Shipment as an order
Every supply chain is different. Determining when and how an order gets exported to a TMS offers users added flexibility in executing their outbound shipping and order fulfillment processes. Our latest release adds further configuration options during the implementation period, allowing users to control whether their integration will use a D365 order as a TMS order, or whether a D365 Shipment will become a TMS order once exported to e2open’s TMS.
Recommended for advanced warehouse setups, it offers an added layer of options and UI visuals for managing critical order and quantity data, whether using header or shipment-level order processes. New parameters, mapping adjustments, TMS quantity logic changes, and Shipment details page UI enhancements have been applied, allowing users to access TMS status, Latest TMS Load, Departure/Receipt dates, and more at the shipment level.
HazMat integration
Hazardous material shipping compliance and increased regulatory adherence continue to drive our product development - improving visibility across supply chains, enabling real-time tracking of hazardous shipments and proactive risk management. Through integrating e2open’s HazMat capabilities into NMB Gateway for TMS, we’ve successfully embedded critical HazMat item data—such as commodity and LTL classes—directly within Gateway for TMS, ensuring shippers streamline compliance with DOT, IATA, and other international safety regulations.

By leveraging e2open’s TMS capabilities with NMB Gateway, our customers can further automate shipping workflows and ensure safer handling, reduce liability, and optimize shipping costs while maintaining full regulatory adherence.
Unlocking new levels of supply chain agility
Our strategic partnerships with e2open and Shipwell continue to redefine transportation management for our D365 clients, delivering cutting-edge TMS capabilities that go far beyond standard D365 offerings. This month’s latest 10.0.37.61.123 release continues to push the envelope, driving the TMS-D365 connection forward by offering customers enhanced visibility through UI improvements, improved efficiency with seamlessly data transmission, as well as revamped toolsets for optimizing freight invoice management.
